Remixes Of The Week

There are so many great remixes out right now that it's hard not to put them all up, but I gotta keep you wanting more! Today is a mix of the old and the new...Just like last weeks post, I threw in a few old school songs for ya... Like I mentioned last week...the song might be a few weeks, months or even years old but the remixes are all brand-spankin'-new :D  I even threw in a few dubstep remixes- Please feel free to leave comments on what you think of these remixes.

If I Die Young – The Deans List – Dear Professor (Eliminate Electro Remix)

Drake - Take Care feat. Rihanna (Riac's Bootleg)

Kanye West - Love Lockdown 2012 (Maur1 Remix)

Skrillex - Kyoto Ft. Sirah (TYR Remix)

Miami Horror - Holidays (Lenno & Jesse Oliver Remix)

This Is How We Do It by Montell Jordan (Evil Bastards Remix)

Hardwell vs. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Cobrawaiting 4 (Matisse & Sadko Mash Up)

I think by now we are all very familiar with the Beats By Dre Headphones; Which might I add, are great headphones. The bass is phenomenal. The only downside is that the  headphones run on two AAA batteries. The reason I'm bringing back these headphones to your attention is because now they FINALLY come in a variety of awesome colors!! Check em' out here or search google for additional colors.

Upcoming Shows

Over the next two months there will be a great amount of talent in Chi Town that you definitely don't want to miss out on. Check out all the upcoming shows that I've listed for you. Personally, I really want to see the Bingo Players and if you haven't heard of these guys then you should check out the videos I posted below. With most DJ's you can pick up on their musical style pretty quickly and you're able to recognize their sound, whether it's an original track or a remix, but the Bingo Players are the complete opposite of most DJ's. All of their songs sound completely different from one another, and in my opinion that type of creativity is real talent.

Song Of The Week

Nicky Romero and Fedde Le Grand are both chart topping DJ's that are taking over the house music scene. Although Nicky is newer to the scene then Fedde, he's definietly no rookie to producing hot remixes and original songs. The two recently got together to produce a 2012 New Years gift for their fans...and holy shitttttttt this track is insane!! The Track is called "Freaky" and it's style kind of reminds me of Daft Punk. If you can imagine a hard house version of Daft Punk's "Technologic", this song might be what you get, but you'll have to take a listen for yourself.

If you don't know who Fedde Le Grande or Nicky Romero are then take a listen to their solo hits displayed below. Maybe then you'll really appreciate their new song together!

Hot New Music

Today I got a ton of new music for you to listen to and download. Some artist's you might know and others you might not know at all. Either way I only pick tracks that I personally think are bangers. If you don't know the artist, you should definitely still take a listen because how else would you discover great new music?!? My selection isn't limited to Just house music, I like to keep a variety of upbeat dance songs...so open your mind and your ears and listen to something new!

Antranig - Spank it!

Zedd - Slam The Door

Bricklake & Bárány Attila - Make You Sweat (Original Mix)

Jeremy Green ft. David Guetta - Higher

Brass Knuckles - Lie to You

Robbie Rivera - Makes Me Feel Good

Avicii & Nicky Romero - Fuck School

Skrillex ft. The Doors - Breakin A Sweat

Natalia Kills ft. FM - Lights Out

Steve Kid - Tribela

**Bonus: Avicii & Nicky Romero - Fuck School (Wallem Brothers NYE Remix)

Headphones Of The Week

The Pioneer HDJ - 500 Headphones are bomb.com!!...at least I seem to think so. I got a pair a few weeks back and I've been pretty much using them for all of my gigs ever since. As you can see they come in 3 hot colors, and they are super comfortable. They aren't the best headphones that Pioneer makes, but for the money they get the job done. Depending on where you get them, they're usually about $100, which is pretty reasonable for a very dependable brand. Also, a unique feature of these headphones is that the right cup swivels back and forth, giving you the option of how you'd like to monitor your music. GET THEM!

Remixes Of The Week

For todays 'Remixes Of The Week' I've decided to take you back a bit. It's very easy to come across tons of remixes of new songs, but it's not so easy to find remixes of older songs. Even when we do find remixes of older songs, they have a tendency to sound like the year they were produced in. Just like fashion, certain elements of music go out of style. Below you'll find newly produced remixes of well-known jams from back in the day. The song may be rusty but the remix is fresh. Enjoy :)

Crazy Town - Butterfly (Richard Reynolds 2012 Remix)

Hardwell vs The Four Tops - Sugar Pie Cobra (Brass Knuckles Bootleg)

Cher - Believe (Yra Santo Mix)

Sisqo - Thong Song (No Body Remix)

Alicia Keys - Fallin' (Rockwell Remix)

Queen vs Alex Kenji - Up The Dust (Tristan Garner Bootleg)

Daft Punk vs Swedish House Mafia - Around The One (Olav Basoski Intro Bootleg)

The Mamas & The Papas - California Dreamin (Savoy Remix)
